Don't miss the heart of summer in Montendre: our beloved night markets (Marchés nocturnes), held every Tuesday evening in July and August!
These lively markets offer a wide selection of stalls offering a wonderful range of products, from freshly grilled meats and seafood to delicious crêpes and traditional French dishes. You'll also find a selection of international dishes: authentic Thai and Indian curries, fresh Italian pasta, Argentinian empanadas, and many other dishes from around the world.
When: Tuesday evenings in July and August from 7 p.m., but arrive early to ensure a table. Wooden tables and benches are set up, you settle in, and the evening begins.
Where: Montendre town center/square around the old market halls.
